Fire Department

Firefighter

The Mauldin Fire Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Firefighter.

Under the supervision of the station officer, the firefighter will provide responsible work for the daily delivery of services such as fire suppression, emergency medical first response, fire prevention, pre-fire planning, technical rescue and hazardous materials response. The firefighter is responsible for participating in physical fitness and firefighter training with their assigned crew each shift. This person will assist their assigned crew in maintaining a competent level of operational readiness of their assigned station and department apparatus.

This position provides highly responsible law enforcement and crime prevention functions for the Police Department. Animal / Code Enforcement Officer

Position is responsible for performing animal control functions for the City of Mauldin. Responsibilities include enforcement of state and local laws and ordinances regarding animal control; providing back up to patrol officers; enforcing city codes and ordinances for noise, litter, parking, and licenses; maintains evidence for the police department; and preparing reports, courtroom security, and performing administrative duties.

Parks and Ground Laborer

Mauldin Public Works is currently accepting applications for a Parks and Ground Laborer. Work for this position includes mowing lawn, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, and providing for the overall upkeep and proper working order of the City’s recreational parks and fields. This position is responsible for all City parks, City Hall, the Mauldin Sports Center, the Mauldin Cultural Center, and the Bi-Lo trail. This position will also be responsible for all roadsides, sidewalks, the exit ramps on 385 at Butler and Bridges roads, the bridge coming into Mauldin on 276, and the new entranceway signs. Marketing and Program Coordinator

The Mauldin Sports Center is seeking a Marketing and Program Coordinator. This position is responsible for all marketing, advertising, and public relations functions for Mauldin Sports Center programs, activities, and fitness center. Develops, implements and administers a comprehensive marketing plan to encompass existing program users, members of the sports center, and residents of Mauldin and beyond. Additionally, will direct special events, the kids’ night out program, and develop a program to increase participation on the rock-climbing wall.
