Firefighter

The Mauldin Fire Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Firefighter.

Under the supervision of the station officer, the firefighter will provide responsible work for the daily delivery of services such as fire suppression, emergency medical first response, fire prevention, pre-fire planning, technical rescue and hazardous materials response. The firefighter is responsible for participating in physical fitness and firefighter training with their assigned crew each shift. This person will assist their assigned crew in maintaining a competent level of operational readiness of their assigned station and department apparatus.

This position provides highly responsible law enforcement and crime prevention functions for the Police Department. Responsibilities include enforcing laws and ordinances, investigating misdemeanor and felony crimes, arresting offenders of the law, responding to dispatch calls involving traffic accidents, medical and other emergencies, civil disputes, family disturbances and other calls requiring police assistance.

Wastewater/Sewer Technician

The City of Mauldin is currently accepting applications for Wastewater/Sewer technician.

The main purpose of the position is to perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of the City’s Wastewater Collection/ Sewer Systems and to perform other technical duties as required. A candidate for this position should have a High School diploma/GED with two to four years experience working in a wastewater collection, sewer maintenance or plumbing related field.

Fitness Floor Monitor

The Mauldin Sports Center is seeking a part-time Fitness Floor Staff Member to join our team. Approximately 20 hours per week; responsibilities include supervising the fitness floor and assisting members in using safe and effective exercise form during their workouts; enforcing Mauldin Sports Center policies; maintaining daily logs of equipment maintenance, cleaning, and schedules; and more.
