Fire Chief

The Mauldin Fire Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Fire Chief.

The ideal candidate will be a strong and innovative professional who demonstrates effective leadership skills in the areas of supervising personnel, carrying out City policies, and managing and coordinating departmental communications. In order to achieve results, the candidate must be able to analyze and evaluate widely varied and complex situations and issues. Deputy Fire Marshal

Fire Marshal

The Mauldin Fire Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Fire Marshal.

Under the general supervision of the Fire Chief, the Fire Marshall will provide for the daily delivery of services such as plan reviews, fire inspections, fire prevention program management, community risk reduction program management, grant program management, and fire investigations.  The Fire Marshal is responsible for supervising 1-2 employees and will serve on the Mauldin Fire Department Command Staff.

Firefighter

The Mauldin Fire Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Firefighter.

Under the supervision of the station officer, the firefighter will provide responsible work for the daily delivery of services such as fire suppression, emergency medical first response, fire prevention, pre-fire planning, technical rescue and hazardous materials response. The firefighter is responsible for participating in physical fitness and firefighter training with their assigned crew each shift. This person will assist their assigned crew in maintaining a competent level of operational readiness of their assigned station and department apparatus.
