About the Store:
Starbucks has brought its business to Mauldin with a new store located at 104 South Main Street. The coffee giant’s newest home, which is the former home of Lynn’s Comfort Shoes, is right near the West Butler Road and South Main Street intersection in the heart of Mauldin.
Starbucks completed construction with $1.5 million in cost, and opened the store with 20 employees. Development is active in the surrounding area, with a newly completed Verizon store on West Butler and a Tropical Grille location that opened recently just down the street.
The Starbucks is less than a block from Mauldin City Hall and the 24½-acre zone that the city has dubbed the “Central Business District,” where plans call for the creation of a pedestrian-friendly downtown area.
