Mauldin residents enjoy five fantastic parks within the city, as well as nearby access to State Parks and hiking trails. Many of Mauldin’s parks offer baseball and softball diamonds, picnic shelters, playgrounds, greenspace, and basketball courts.

DOGS IN PARKS
Want to bring your furry friend to one of our parks? Dogs are allowed in city parks under specific conditions spelled out in “Dogs in Parks Rules.”
STATE PARKS & HIKING TRAILS
The residents of Mauldin have access to great local parks but are also a short drive away from some of South Carolina’s finest state parks and hiking trails.

Blue Ridge Mountains
The iconic Blue Ridge Mountains are only a short drive from the Mauldin city limits. Plan a day hike, camping trip, or a car ride to experience America’s favorite drive.

Greenway/Swamp Rabbit Bike Trails
Mauldin has 11 greenways and bike trails throughout the city and is near access ways to the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail. The Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail is a 22-mile walking and biking trail that travels along the Reedy River. The City is presently exploring opportunities to expand the Swamp Rabbit Trail into the community of Mauldin.

Lake Conestee Nature Park
Adjacent to Mauldin is Lake Conestee. Lake Conestee Nature Park is one of the area’s finest landmarks, offering historical and natural beauty. The 145-acre park has walking and biking trails, a playground and dog park. It is also home to lots of outdoor events throughout the year.
