Mauldin Veterinarian Fills an Upstate Need for Emergency Pet Care

By February 10, 2021No Comments
Veterinary Emergency Center in Mauldin, owned by veterinarian Atticus Mabry, is one of only two veterinary offices in Greenville County that are open after 8 p.m. on weeknights and with extended weekend hours, the other being at Upstate Vet Emergency + Specialty Care on Woods Lake Road in Greenville. Mabry’s office is open until 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Greenville News spoke with Mabry about his practice. Mabry said he opened in November 2019 after seeing a need in the community. Though the business opened to a slow start, things really started to pick up last April and now they’re looking to expand with the hiring of a second emergency veterinarian this spring.

The Veterinary Emergency Center is located at 11 West Point Boulevard in Mauldin, where during the daytime weekday hours the practice operates as a standard veterinary office for dogs and cats under the name Oasis Animal Hospital.
