Due to inclement weather, the Mauldin Police Department has rescheduled National Night Out 2025 to Saturday, Sept. 20 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Mauldin Cultural Center outdoor amphitheater at 101 E. Butler Rd. The annual event was originally scheduled for tonight, Aug. 5.
This year’s event will feature free food and beverages, music, dance performances, a K9 demonstration, fire trucks and police vehicles as well as a variety of children’s activities. Special guests will include the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, Greenville Triumph and The Blood Connection.
“National Night Out is a great opportunity for neighbors to come together, connect with our officers and strengthen the bonds that keep our community safe,” said Lt. James Madden, who organized the event. “From games and activities for the kids to great food and entertainment, there’s something for everyone, and we hope people come out and join the fun.”
Guests will have the opportunity to meet local law enforcement officers in a casual setting and enjoy fun for the whole family, including a petting zoo, bounce houses, face painting, balloon art and more. Music will be provided by Super Joe of The Edge Entertainment, and free hot dogs, soda, chips, popcorn, cotton candy and snow cones will be available while supplies last.
