Jason Kraeling won a tight race Tuesday to fill the vacant seat on Mauldin City Council, according to unofficial election results from Greenville County.
Kraeling defeated James Kennedy by just 28 votes in the runoff election for the seat, 490 to 462 votes. Kraeling garnered about 51.5% to Kennedy’s 48.5% of the vote.
Kraeling, 49, is an engineering technical leader at General Electric.
