The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) announced that construction is officially underway at the intersection of Ashmore Bridge Road and Standing Springs Road.
Work will include the installation of traffic signals and other intersection improvements to increase safety in the area.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the construction zone and plan for possible delays. Flagging operations will be present as needed.
The estimated completion date for the project is June 2027.
This intersection has been a major concern for residents, so we’re pleased to see these improvements moving forward.
