Community Invited to Join Mauldin’s Spring Cleanup Day on May 2

Mark your calendars! Mauldin’s Spring Community Cleanup Day will take place on Saturday, May 2nd, bringing together volunteers of all ages to help keep our community clean, safe and beautiful.

This community-wide effort will focus on litter removal in shared spaces around the city. Residents, families, local businesses, and groups are encouraged to participate and make a visible difference in just a few hours of service.

“Nobody wants to live in a place that’s dirty and filthy. We do this to make Mauldin a healthier and cleaner place for kids to play or people to walk,” said Assistant Recreation Director Willie Stewart.

“It sounds simple, but it makes a big difference in the city, and I think that gives a reason for people to want to visit Mauldin,” said Mauldin Sports Center Coordinator Renae Mullins, who is organizing the event.

Volunteers will meet at the Mauldin Sports Center at 8:30am on Saturday, May 2. Supplies will be provided.

Ready to make an impact? Sign up today to volunteer here.

Let’s come together on May 2nd and show what community looks like in action!
