Annual LEAD Upstate Event to be held at Greenville Convention Center

By September 8, 2020No Comments

This year’s Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (LEAD) event will be held at the Greenville Convention Center from September 14th – 18th, with the annual appreciation drive-through breakfast on Friday, September 18th from 6:00 – 9:00 a.m.

The LEAD Upstate goal is to bridge the community and law enforcement together in the name of appreciation and gratitude. LEAD Greenville gives the community an opportunity to say thank you to all the law enforcement personnel in Greenville County including Greenville, Greer, Traveler’s Rest, Mauldin, Simpsonville, & Fountain Inn. The event sponsors are honored to host this event to the men and women who courageously dedicate their lives to serve the citizens of their communities every day.

All Greenville County law enforcement officers are invited to attend the event! They will receive “valor bags,” t-shirts, breakfast, and giveaway prizes they may have won through the daily prize drawings during the week. The Mauldin community is invited to take part in the event to show support for Mauldin law enforcement officers. As mentioned before, the breakfast is on September 18th from 6:00 – 9:00 a.m.

You can support LEAD Upstate in a number of ways:

  • When you see an officer, welcome the officers and express your gratitude for their service
  • Spreading the word to the community / local organizations to garner interest in the event
  • Putting up “I Support LEAD Upstate” yard signs at your offices / homes (contact LEAD if you are interested in this option)
