Amp’d Up Fridays Kicks Off May 23 at the Mauldin Cultural Center

The Mauldin Cultural Center is set to kick off its summer season with Amp’d Up Fridays, a free concert series that runs every Friday night from May 23 to July 25. Concerts will feature beach music, pop, rock, country, R&B and more, as well as a variety of food trucks and beer and wine from Growler Haus. All shows run from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Mauldin Cultural Center outdoor amphitheater at 101 E. Butler Rd.

“There’s no better feeling than seeing our Mauldin community come alive,” said Theatre Manager Kristofer Parker. “Amp’d Up Fridays is a highlight of the year, offering the perfect blend of great music and neighborly connection. Bring your lawn chairs, make some new friends and let the good times roll.”

This year’s lineup of performers is as follows:

  • May 23 | Randomonium

“Amp’d Up Fridays is more than a concert series. It’s a celebration of community, culture, and the continued momentum in Mauldin’s growth,” said Taft Matney, Mauldin City Council Member and chair of the Economic Planning and Development Committee. “Events like this show what happens when we invest in public spaces that bring people together and support local businesses at the same time.”

Now in its 11th season, Amp’d Up Fridays was previously known as Beachin’ Fridays, which brought the popular beach music scene to Mauldin. The series was rebranded in 2023 as the music roster expanded to include additional music genres, and it continues to draw people from the Upstate and beyond for nights filled with live music, dancing and delicious food.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the outdoor performances, and leashed dogs are allowed.

Outside food and beverages, smoking, weapons, tents, bikes, scooters, hoverboards and skateboards are all prohibited.

In the event of inclement weather, weather-related announcements will be made via the Mauldin Cultural Center’s Facebook page.
