On Friday, Jan. 24, the Mauldin Theatre Company will host Season Reveal 2025-26: A Black Tie Gala presented by Cristina Ortiz – State Farm, with a reception starting at 6:30 p.m. and presentation at 7:30 p.m. at the Mauldin Cultural Center. Guests can expect to mingle with fellow theatre lovers and enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks at the reception, followed by a dynamic presentation unveiling the Mauldin Theatre Company’s highly anticipated 2025-26 season, dubbed “A Blank Canvas Awaits: Season of Transformation.”
“The season reveal night has become my favorite time of the year,” said Production and Theatre Coordinator Kristofer Parker, who is hosting the event. “Getting to watch our community buzz with excitement and anticipation is such a treat. The Mauldin Theatre Company wanted to make this night extra special, so we’re excited to add the black tie gala element to enhance the evening.”
The red carpet event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a pre-show cocktail reception catered by Fork and Plough and beverages provided by Growler Haus. Programming will begin at 7:30 p.m., when Parker will announce changes coming to the Mauldin Theatre Youth program, share details about the Mauldin Theatre Company’s mission, vision, and commitment to artistic excellence, and reveal the productions coming to the Mauldin Theatre Company stage this season.
This year’s theme, “A Blank Canvas Awaits: Season of Transformation,” speaks to the new initiatives planned for the Mauldin Theatre Company, which was named the 2024 Best of the Upstate for Best Community Theatre.
“We’re excited to share the magic of the upcoming season and reveal the exciting changes and fresh perspectives coming to the Mauldin Theatre Company,” said Parker. “This promises to be an unforgettable night that showcases a new era of creativity for our theatre program.”
The gala will also feature a live band led by Greg Day and a special performance by Broadway’s Christiani Pitts, renowned for her roles in “King Kong” and “A Bronx Tale.”
Tickets to the event are $25, which includes one drink ticket and access to the pre-show reception, and can be purchased at https://mauldinculturalcenter.ludus.com/index.php.
