The Mauldin Police Department has arrested 3 individuals in connection with a shots fired incident in the Knollwood Heights neighborhood that took place on Feb. 3. MPD is not releasing the identity of the suspects at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
Incident Details
At approximately 8:10 p.m. on Feb. 3, dispatch received a report of shots fired near Kingsley Drive in Knollwood Heights. Officers responded and found multiple shell casings on Braddock Drive and then discovered that a home and vehicle on Braddock Drive had been struck.
Further investigation revealed that a total of 34 rounds were fired from multiple firearms of different calibers and the shell casings were located at the intersection of Knollwood Drive and Braddock Drive. Several projectiles were also recovered from a residence on Braddock Drive. No one was injured or struck by any projectiles.
MPD’s investigation included assistance from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.
MPD continues to investigate the incident and will release any additional information as it becomes available.
