The Mauldin Police Department is now accepting applications for the 2025 Youth Academy for boys and girls ages 11-14. The free program is designed to promote good citizenship through education and law enforcement experiences.
Cadets will enjoy daily lunch, participate in team-building exercises and focus on physical fitness. The program also includes cookouts, training scenarios, Special Response Team (SRT) and K9 demonstrations, and a variety of hands-on activities. Both academies run for two weeks in June.
