In the City of Mauldin’s General Election held on Nov. 7, 2023, Mayor Terry Merritt was re-elected as Mayor, Carol King was re-elected to Council Seat 2, Michael Reynolds was re-elected to Council Seat 4, and Mark Steenback was elected to Council Seat 6.
All candidates ran unopposed.
All four officials will serve four-year terms that begin on Jan. 1, 2024 and end on Dec. 31, 2027. A swearing-in ceremony will be held on January 2, 2024.
A total of 1,434 ballots were cast in Tuesday’s election out of 19,130 registered voters, representing a 7.5 percent turnout.
