The Municipal Election Commission of the City of Mauldin announces the general election for the City of Mauldin will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023. Filing begins on Monday, July 17 at noon and ends on Tuesday, August 15 at noon. Candidates may file with Municipal Clerk Cindy Miller at Mauldin City Hall, Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The following offices will be included in the election: Mayor, Council Seat 2, Council Seat 4 and Council Seat 6; all Council seats are at-large. All offices are four-year terms that begin on Jan. 1, 2024 and end on Dec. 31, 2027. The non-refundable filing fee is $100 for Council and $150 for Mayor. Candidates for office must be registered to vote and must be a resident of the City of Mauldin.
Certification of election results will be conducted by the Mauldin Election Commission on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023.
